Project Description
Analyses of End-of-Life care in Missouri nursing homes
Only when medical staff recognize the signs and symptoms of end-of-life can the appropriate care be giving to make the patient as comfortable as possible. Researchers from the University of Missouri are examining the quality of palliative care. These researchers are describing the population and discovering ways to improve the quality of end-of-life care. On-going research is focusing on ways of predicting mortality and the need for palliative care.
