Funded by the Gerontological Nursing Interventions Research Center at the University of Iowa from Center funding provided by NINR, we conducted an indepth evaluation of the effectiveness of the educational support intervention provided with the longitudinal "Show-me MDS QI Report" in the feedback intervention study completed in 1999. This funding provided us with the opportunity to interview nursing home staff who participated in the study to learn about what things were most effective when providing educational support for quality improvement. We can better tailor future support to nursing homes with this evaluation.
